If this is the first time you are installing the lights, please the below steps:
- Check if your transformer match the voltage rating of your lights. 12V lights to 12V transformer.
- Unplug the transformer from the power outlet and the LED strip lights. Plug it again on a different wall outlet to check if it is the power outlet.
- If you are using a wired dimmable driver, make sure to align the markings. (+) to (+) and (12V/24V marking on the strips) to the (12V/24V marking on the driver).
- Check all connections between the LED strip and power source to ensure they're secure and undamaged.
- If you are using a remote switch, check if the plastic between the battery and remote has been removed.
If the lights used to work but now they won't turn on, please check the below steps:
- Unplug the transformer from the power outlet and the LED strip lights. Plug it again on a different wall outlet to check if it is the power outlet.
- Check all connections between the LED strip and power source to ensure they're secure and undamaged.
- If you are using a remote switch, try replacing the battery and test.
- If you have a spare transformer and that works, it is a power supply failure - check your warranty coverage.
